The hotel and the wellness are very good to spend some lazy days here. The spa is bit small, so you have to watch out the morning or later afternoon times, when it is not so crowded. The breakfast and the diner was a bit boring, but the renaissance evening with the knight tournament and the renaissance diner was very exciting

Beautiful hotel! Clean, nice and with an amazing view to the castle. The staff was really helpful and the food and breakfast were really good. They had clean swimming pool and hot tubs for hydromassage. I recommend it for a wellness weekend!

Very nice location. Cosy family room. Tasty meals. Kid friendly pools with thermal water, kids room next to the restaurant. Friendly staff. The events organized by the hotel (joust, falconry, scone(lángos) party, hiking, etc.) were enjoyed not only by our kids but by their parents too. Good value for money ratio.

Unfortunately we have not so good experience there with my girlfriend. The price was extremely high compared for the quality in off-season. I don't understand the price calculation they make, they give us the price per person, but the only difference is to change 2 more towels, which isn't really worth extra money... The room was not clean (spider nest on the ceiling), the lights gave some annoying noise and we had no running water at first night. (from the water status I have some doubt about the proper cleaning of the bathroom) From other comments I assume we were just unlucky but I won't recommend the hotel to my friends from my experience.

I loved my stay! The location is excellent. The food is excellent. The facilities seems like completely new. The staff is friendly. The conference room has an interesting lighting, and the air conditioner is a bit noisy.

We spent a weekend from Friday to Sunday there with my husband, and it was a huge disappointment. The only nice experience from this place was its’ restaurant, the waiters were kind and the food was delicious. About the hotel itself I cannot say anything positive. The receptionists at the check-in were phlegmatic and they supposed that everyone knows everything about the hotel. The room was dirty, the carpet had many stains, and the furniture was dusty and had stains from glasses. We got towels that were so filthy that we didn’t dare to use them. The shower head was leaking everywhere and the water temperature was fluctuating. In the room there was nothing that a 4-star hotel usually offers (eg. coffee, tea and kettle) and a safe could be only used if you can get a key from the reception. About 16:40 on Friday, we had no chance to book a massage for the whole weekend, while when we got to the wellness part of the hotel on Saturday we found pools smelling really badly from chlorine and had no place put our stuff as it was so crowded. Half of the saunas were also closed. Altogether it was dreadful.

It was such a great experience to stay here. The staff are really friendly and flexible. Even after check out they have no problem with you staying in the wellness or even order for a tap. That is unusual in Hungary and it is so nice that Hotel Visegrád figured out how to do good business. The wellness area is well equipped, they have a beach bar which is really nice.

Visegrad is worth of seeing for sure. This Hotel Visegrad was in nice location, food and breakfast were no excellent, but eatable. The hotel in general nice, friendly staff, but in some points, very dirty. In the picture the toilet paper's hanger. My husband's sheet was not white, it was yellow-gray. Both pillow sheets also not white, and at dinner, the knife was used.
