★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been living and working in Budapest for 2 years now. Me and my wife decided to buy a car and went to do the registration. They asked for the visa stamp in my European passport, which does not exists (you do not require a visa but a registration in the immigration office to stay in Hungary if you are from EU), since I clearly could not have a visa stamp they threaten to get me arrested and called me "illegal immigrant" and I was kicked out of the office. Worst experience in my life and I am this close to report it at the authorities or to request my company to step in (i work in a really big brand company)
