Azt olvastam, 2015-ben avatták Koszorús Ferenc mellszobrát itt, az Esztergomi rondelláján, az országzászló árboca mellett. A márvány/gránit oszlopra magyarul, angolul és héberül gravírozták arany betűkkel a második világháború alatti érdemeit. A bronz mellszobor letisztult, elegáns, határozott tekintetű. Idézet a hátoldaláról: "A magyar katona esküjéhez való hűségének örök példaképe."

I read that in 2015 the bust of Ferenc Koszorús was inaugurated here on the rondelle of Esztergom, next to the national flag mast. The marble / granite column is engraved in Hungarian, English and Hebrew with gold letters during the Second World War. The bronze bust is clean, elegant, with a definite look. Quote from the back: "The eternal example of the Hungarian soldier's faithfulness to the oath."

Editing Ferenc Koszorús (Debrecen, February 3, 1899 - Arlington, Virginia, March 8, 1974) is a Hungarian soldier. The best known was the so-called war. Prevention of a “gendarmerie coup” on July 6, 1944, which made it possible to stop the deportation of Budapest Jewry. On March 15, 1991, President Árpád Göncz promoted him to a posthumous general colonel. (Wikipedia)
