Only 1-2 cafes before security check, only serves cold sandwiches. Early baggage drop is not possible

Chaotic, hard to reach with public transport and much more tiring and hassle compared to other airports that I have been to. Especially if you are traveling w WizzAir/ RyanAir/etc. Update to 3 stars because of the new terminal. As soon as the situation around Taxis is addressed, they build back a proper park facility in front of the airport and build train connection I am happy to give 4 stars! Go for it guys!! Make the dream come true!!

Small airport but comfortable, you can buy everything what you want ?

Departure lounge is too small and always crowded.

Spacious and clean. Good selection of dining places and enough seating everywhere.

Outside there are machines that sell tickets for 900 Huf. The bus to the city centre comes every 12 mins. You can purchase with card or cash

Biggest scam in Budapest. Totally do not recommend. The line 100E takes you to the city center for (over the) double price (and you are lucky if only double price, and not more, because usually the drivers asks for more depending on your currency that you have), but the same quality buses as the regular service (200E). Seat on the bus is not neccessarily provided, so you might have to stand for 20-40 minutes for the same ride (for at least double price, then the normal service would provide). Drivers on the line 100E usually try to take advantage from foreign people, as well as tried to do so with me, when I talked to my friends in English, but they changed their mentality as soon they found out that I speak their language. BKK is totally disrespectful to their customers, do not even try to compain about it, because they refuse any cases until you take legal steps against the company (which you obviously won't take, because you are in this city for a few days).
