My daughter has coeliac disease but MAK made no fuss at all and she was able to have the tasting menu. We are so used to hearing ‘ no, sorry’ so this was even better than expected.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For me the name "bistro" is somewhat confusing because this is definitely a restaurant leaning towards fine dining, though the more casual atmosphere does still say bistro more than the cuisine. The fixed 13-course menu is just that, fixed, though of course the kitchen can work with any allergies or intolerances guests might have.
For me this was a very enjoyable experience, there are good dishes and really great dishes, the great ones are Michelin star quality in my opinion. The wine pairing was also imaginative and featured some unusual choices in terms of Hungarian wine. The alcohol-free juice pairing was also very interesting and makes a great alternative for those who prefer to stay booze-free.
Overall this was a very enjoyable dining experience, which offered good value for money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a lovely evening. The place has a neutral interior, it all depends on the food. So did it work, did they deliver more than a regular restaurant.
The food was fantastic, the only issue i had, was the foie gras, it was very fat (as it is) but with no garniture like berries, sour or other elements to comply with this. The wine was perfect for this dish! This is my personal opinion and maybe others will love the baby corn with it.
All in All, it was fantastic food, don't listen to this old grumpy man, needing his sour sweets with his foie gras :)
They delivered.
Go book a table now, it has wonderful service and fantastic food that is better than most places in the world.
Do yourself the favor, buy winepairing with your food - exceptional wine selection to the delivered food.
Go go go..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been wanting to come here for years and I had mixed feeling when it happened. The restaurant is nice, waiters are friendly, attentive but... The first dish took forever to arrive then the time between dishes was also long. They were tasty but really small. And I mean all of them, except the desserts, they were just enough. Ive been in some other fine dining places around the city and I actually felt "well fed" at the end of the dinner. That did not happen here. The price should suggest otherwise to be honest. Everything was great except the portions. Not sure I would come here again.
