★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Az emlékmű – alkotói Széri-Varga Géza és Széri-Varga Zoltán – az 1950-1953 között kényszerlakhelyekre és kényszermunkatáborokba elhurcoltaknak állít emléket.
A Hortobágyi Kényszermunkatáborokba Elhurcoltak Egyesülete kezdeményezését támogatta a Fővárosi Önkormányzat és a 2010 októberében felállított köztéri művészeti alkotással emlékeztet azon magyar állampolgárok sorsára, akiket 1950 és 1953 között a magyar állam családostól kényszerlakhelyre száműzött, és a nyilvánosságtól elzárt munkatáborokban fegyencként dolgoztatott.
Az alkotás üvegbetonból készült. Az üvegbeton feltalálója Losonczy Áron, akinek nagyszülei és édesanyja is az egyik hortobágyi kényszermunkatábor lakója volt.
 The monument - created by Géza Széri-Varga and Zoltán Széri-Varga - commemorates those deported to forced housing and forced labor camps between 1950 and 1953.
The initiative of the Association of Deportees to the Forced Labor Camps in Hortobágy was supported by the Municipality of Budapest and with a public artwork created in October 2010, it remembers the fate of Hungarian citizens who were deported from forced labor to the Hungarian state between 1950 and 1953.
The work is made of glass concrete. The inventor of the glass concrete is Áron Losonczy, whose grandmother and mother lived in one of the forced labor camps in Hortobágy.
