Mera Hotel

We throughly enjoyed our stay in Mera and would recommend this hotel to everyone! Spotless and spatious rooms, breakfast included, great staff, and a perfect location in the city! Thank you for making our visit to Budapest so great!

It is in the centre, easy to access all kind of tourist activity. The staff are very polite and helpful. The breakfast is okay

Clean and nice place to stay. Location is just amazing and staffs are nice! If you're a big fan of walking around, you don't even need to take much of public transportation.

Very good for a short stay (weekend), providing essentials (quality beds, clean bathroom & toilet, good breakfast, nice staff) Well located to have nice walks through the city and good nearby restaurants/bars. All bedrooms are on the 1st level and neighborhood (upper floors) might be slightly noisy, of course this isn’t the hotel responsibility. However all conditions are met for the price.

An incredible place to stay. I can’t thank the reception staff enough for the lovely bottle of champagne and hand-written note for my husband’s bday; the spot-on list of food and drink recs; and the warm greetings every time we entered and left. Honestly almost everything about this hotel is fantastic: the wonderful smell of the hotel lobby upon entrance; the sleek and stylish interior design and colour scheme, from the lobby to the bedrooms and halls; the central location; the large room and fantastic DOUBLE-GLAZED windows (I was concerned at first on having a room facing the street (room 109) as I’m sensitive to noise but the windows blocked any traffic noise so well); the ample breakfast options with kind staff serving. The hotel itself is also very quiet and we never heard other guests. The welcome drink of a glass of delicious dry, white Hungarian wine is lovely too. Honestly I could wax on and on about this place. The only minor caveats we had were: the room was REALLY warm, almost like a sauna, despite us turning off the thermostat. We got used to it after the first night, and it felt good to enter after being cold outside. Unfortunately there are no top sheets on the bed, only duvets, which meant we didn’t sleep well the first night, being alternately hot and cold. Our sleep was hit and miss the rest of the time. And finally there doesn’t seem to be recycling and small toiletries offered are not environmentally-friendly (save for the shower gel). I would absolutely stay here again with my husband. Solo, it’s a bit too pricey but great for a couple. Also want to give a shout-out for the rec for the gorgeous V30 gym a four-minute walk away. I had three sessions there and recommend them as well.

The hotel is brand new everything is in perfect condition. Top-of-the-line bath products the best possible front desk staff location is incredible. The service you get in this hotel is wonderful. Anything less than five stars for this place as a review is unacceptable. The staff will bend over backwards to please their guests. I’ve been in Europe 1 month and this was by far the nicest stay.

Nice rom, good bed, everything is new and clean. Quite enough to been in the city. We had room to the back street. Good breakfast and nice people working in the hotel.

Nice stay... Nice new hotel... Very friendly and kind staff. We were full satisfied here. Silent, clean, nice place to stay... It is about 5- 10 min walk from subway station.
