Friendly staff and excellent location. I highly recommend.

I have very mixed feelings about this hotel. The location is good, far from the busy nighife area, but still in a walking distance from the city centre, the metro is 2 mins walk. The rooms are spacious and relatively well-equipped. However there are quite some issues. The room was a bit dirty, the bed was worn. You had to wait about 3-4 mins in the shower before there was hot water, this is something a 4 star hotel can’t let happen. The breakfast is very basic, more like a lower-end 3 star hotel. Most of these things you can live with, but for this price you can find better, even 3 star hotels in Budapest.

This hotel is correct but far from 4 stars standards: the breakfast is low quality and no variety. A facade painting would be great. The room was not very clean (old sports on the floor, moulds in the bathroom...) And quite destroyed (very noisy bed, windows broken impossible to close...). We were supposed to have a Chinese diagnostic for free ..but unfortunately the reception guy never knew how it works... Cheap but not so cheap ...closed to the subway... I would think twice to book it. Nevertheless

Very good and interesting place. Spacious rooms with high ceilings, great beds, pillows quality need some improvement but nevertheless the hotel offers good opportunities for rest. Bathrooms are good. Breakfast is good too. An interesting fact is that the hotel has a ouchbof Chinese culture - bathroom vanity kitsch are based Chinese herbs, tea in rooms is healthy Chinese herbs and the offer traditional Chinese medical services. Next time I will try definitely. I recommend.

The concierge was extremely nice and helpful. We got in early (at 11), before traditional check-in time, but wanted to see where the hotel was and get some information. The concierge appologized our room was not ready yet (we didn't expect it to be) and offered to keep our bags there until it was so we could tour around without the weight. He also recommended a fantastic traditional Hungarian restaurant just down the street called Paprika that was so delicious. The included breakfast was way more than we bargained for, offering so many different (some oriental options) but tasty choices (way more than you would expect from a continental breakfast). We had a room facing the heroes square with a patio overlooking it. Great view! It was very hot when we got there, so we were happy to get back to a comfortably air conditioned room. The AC was not noisy or too intense, which I appreciated. The concierge organized a reasonably priced taxi for us and when we went to check out, he offered we could keep out bags there again, since our train was not leaving until 5 pm. The staff really went above and beyond to make our stay special. The location is ideal and really close to the subway and train station. I would highly recommend this hotel. It may be a little pricier than other options, but I can say it was worth every penny.

Amazing hotel, in a great location and with amazing staff

We really liked the location, near Heroes Square, thermal bath, park. Room was fine, high ceiling, clean. Not a lot of traditional nightlife nearby, but Heroes Square at midnight , no other people there, made you really feel the Magyar spirit. Anyone know if Mirage Medic does massage therapy for non-guests of hotel? Their massage staff and herbal medicine room are both excellent.

Perfect base location for most tourist activities. Almost on a metro station and close to the zoo, various parks, galleries etc. Not so good of you are wanting the night life but enough good quality restaurants nearby. The only negative is the coffee sachets in the room all contain creamer and some sugar too which is no good if you like black coffee. On street parking is available free from 6pm Friday till 8am Monday, at other times you must pay but there is some limited space in the hotel drive by negotiation. The staff are all lovely helpful people.
