Ordered a package to Hungary. According to online services, the package was to "Budapest 3 posta", according to the lady at that place, the package wasn't... They say attempted delivery, but there was no notice and so I assume no attempt. Interesting. Couple of days later, my package was sent back to the sender. Even though the update on the online tracking says differently.
I believe the Hungarian post cries for competitors.
Some suggestions if you are willing to improve:
- keep your online tracking system up to date. UPSP and Hungarian post has different status updates at different time for the same package.
- educate your employees to use the online system, seems they also cannot interpret the online systems' report.
- try to reach out to the contact persons. Let's assume my package was attempted to be delivered. Lave a note. Also, package had email and phone. We asked for updates, not post tried to reach us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could I would give negative stars. I have sent 2 boxes from UK a month ago. After providing many documents (all personal belongings) they have sent 1 of my boxes and the other still sits there for NO REASON. I have contacted their "customer service" several times which is useless, and emailed few times still nothing. My packages arrived to this country 24 days ago!!!!!

I think this is just a scam to collect free parcels from all over the world and redistribute them to Hungarian postal workers, claiming they're "lost". Every day must be like bloody Christmas to them. If you must order something from outside the EU, pay the extra money and use a private courier service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My order been their since August 21 sent documents 2 times called service center 3 times now October 4 still nothing waiting delivery as far as contact their just a run around I'm not Hungarian I'm a American living here a for what I was told 400 forient holding this up show to me how incompetent this country postal service is good luck to a trying

Shame on you..., incredible situation ..i think magyar posta vam wont make a fee taxes everything, everyone,everywhere!? Thinking about and no using hungarian post never! My parcel was send by extra express mail ! Stopped on custom curios ly by 5day. My parcel numberEE000307175KG!? Please delivery this aid to relatives immediately!

People are busy. Nothing happened ever since. They either lost or worse my order and honestly? I do not expect any progressive and helpful response since DHL started to send my package back to Dubai then back to the USA.
I am mad.
People are busy. Covid makes it worse. No attempt to at least keep in touch to be informed when my package is stucked for a month (add 2.more days oh yeah, weekends....) and nothing happens.
I am able to undertsand if something stucks but at least make an attempt to communicate.
Not even including the order number anymore
...I did it quite a lot via customer service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They regularly sit 2-3 weeks on _express_ letters and parcels. If you’re lucky, and it doesn’t get stolen or lost here, it’s only a further 1-2 weeks until it gets delivered to an address in Budapest once it leaves this facility.
