Pour la Hongrie cette guerre a une double signification. d'une part c'est un conflit entrainant une dévastation sans précédent, mais c'est aussi la fin de l'unité du pays. Le déclenchement de la guerre en juillet 1914 avec la Serbie a entrainé le conflit mondial. Pendant les 51 mois de guerre le pays a donné environ 3 800 000 soldats. La grande guerre a marqué les hongrois par les pertes démentielles et inoubliables qui ont touchés toutes les familles. Voilà qui explique bien le réalisme de ce groupe de statues.
Group of 4 commemorative statues of the 1914-1918 war located at the entrance of a museum. For Hungary this war has a double meaning. on the one hand it is a conflict leading to unprecedented devastation, but it is also the end of the unity of the country. The outbreak of war in July 1914 with Serbia led to world conflict. During the 51 months of war the country has given approximately 3,800,000 soldiers. The great war marked the Hungarians with the demented and unforgettable losses that affected all families. That explains the realism of this group of statues.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr gut gemachte Ausstellung zum ersten Weltkrieg. Die multimediale Aufbereitung gepaart mit Wachsfiguren etc. machen die Kriegszeit lebendig und verdeutlicht die Entstehung, Auswirkungen und Nachwirkungen.
Very well made exhibition to the first world war. The multimedia treatment paired with wax figures, etc. make the time of war alive and clarifies the origin, effects and after-effects.
