Rákosmezeje - Budapest

(English below) Running and hiking is a great opportunity for the locals. The remnants of the Rákos field, which once spread here and was fed by a still winding stream, are fortunate enough to meet someone else (dogs and, because of the nearby riding stables, horses, and certainly horse lemons). The remaining parts are still cozy, so we can quickly break out of the relatively urban environment into the ‘wilderness’ for a while. Nice place for a jog or taking an excursion if you happen to be in the neigborhood ... Dews and little pounds mostly, during the working hours at labor days the place is quite abandoned, you have a chance to meet no one (at least a few dog owners) during your time out. The area where the little river (Rákos stream) trespassed used to be much bigger, then the water path was straightened artificially ... A few remaining little torrents are however keeping the once-were fairy vegetation alive at this area, in a few dozen square kilometers at near the sub-industrial districts of Budapest. Be prepared to meet horses as well at the paths, as there are a few riding halls nearby, and they take them out often (so watch your step if you don't want to see your shoe in horse dungs ​​...).
