★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ezen a helyen I. Béla alapított apátságot. Ezt az épületet átépítették, bővítették, igazították, újjáépítették, felújították, fallal és árokkal vették körül, túlélt, igaz sérülésekkel, rombolásokkal belső háborúkat, tatárjárást, törököt, labancot, kurucot, egészen az 1794-es tűzvészig. Akkor úgy megrongálódott, hogy végül a bontása mellett döntöttek. A föld feletti részét felhasználták az új templomhoz, az alsó részt betemették a vármegyeház udvarán nem látszott belőle semmi. Az 1967-től kezdődő feltáráskor a fellelt maradványokat kiásták és kialakították ezt a romkertet.
 Béla I founded an abbey in this place. This building was rebuilt, enlarged, adapted, rebuilt, renovated, surrounded by walls and ditches, survived, with true damage and destruction, internal wars, Tartar invasion, Turks, Labancas, Kurucs, until the fire of 1794. It was damaged then that they finally decided to demolish it. The above-ground part was used for the new church, the lower part was buried in the courtyard of the county house, nothing was visible from it. During excavations beginning in 1967, the remains found were excavated and this ruined garden was formed.
