★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Franciscan Monastery existed there from the 13th - 16th centuries. The ruins are nice to see. It's nothing special but still very pretty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An interesting bit of the island’s history in the well preserved but ruined remains of the building. Not a lot of information available in English.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So much history on such a small island. Make sure to walk to the left when you enter the island from the main entrance so you can check this out

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not worth coming here just to see these as you won't learn anything, just drop by when you visit the glorious Margaret Island

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Maybe it is just me not being too deeply involved in Hungarian history, but I believe that Budapest can offer you much more with the later periods' monuments all around the city. Enjoyed the walk around the island but these ruins are not something extraordinary.
