★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The water is really nice here with a sand lakebed that allows you to enjoy the lake not only for swimming. The beach is really nice, plenty of options and space to chill. The entrance is super cheep (around 4USD).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This large municipal strand is generally OK, but the restrooms have a problem. They are supposed to be free -- their use included in the admission price. Signs are painted on all of them in Hungarian and German indicating this.
Yet, they are operated as profit centers. Most of the toilet paper holders have been removed from the stalls and someone usually sits outside handing out a few sheets of toilet paper for "voluntary" donations. Just like in the bad old days of Communism. Real RETRO.
Bring some coins in your bathing suit pockets, or better yet, bring your own toilet paper and soap...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not everyone from the beach staff speaks English or German. However, there's a very nice access to the lake, very clear water and a very wide range of restaurants. Sometimes, there's really loud music, but literally no one listens to it, so it's kinda useless and it just bothers people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Affordable tickets with weekend tickets option! It is very conveniently located at Petofi Setany. Lots of food places around and some at the strand. Clean, cozy place and open till super late. The Siofok wheel is also there and you can enjoy pedal boats there.

- Scamming customers and grumpy, very unkind staff
- Lack of areas with shadows (people are packed under the trees)
- Stolen slippers
- Disgusting change cabin and toilet
I will never visit again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a great beach, especially for those who want to spend their time actively. The summer is awesome if you visit this place. There is music, beach volleyball, and there are a lot of other things to try and enjoy there as well. There are bars, restaurants and other facilities to make you feel comfortable. Although it is a popular destination in summertime, the lake is equally beautiful to behold from this place in wintertime, sometimes you can even walk on the frozen water.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably one of the biggest beaches at Lake Balaton. It is only an hour drive from Budapest. You can find free parking if you come early but the paid parking is still reasonably priced. The beach offers pool, free outdoor gym, beach volleyball, inflatable playground, changing room, toilet and safe. Mainly green area with lots of big trees. There are several beach street-food bars and shops at “Petofi setany”. On the weekends there are several concerts are taking place.
