★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A couple of weeks ago, we came in for a meal after a long day searching Budapest for boots (?!) Thought we'd try here as we had driven past many times. We both ordered the duck which was cooked to perfection, in fact, everything on our plates was cooked to perfection. And there was a lot of it! We thought we'd have some bird's milk after and ordered a hot chocolate to accompany it ..... well!!! We have never had such a huge bowl of it ever! The entire meal was amazing and really pretty cheap .... definitely one of the best places we've eaten in Hungary and we have been ALL over the place over the last 3 months! Very highly recommended ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service and food...very filling and affordable! We chose to dine indoors because there was air conditioning. Inside is fancier and had less patrons. We had quick and attentive service and all staff spoke English. You have a choice for outdoor dining as well, under umbrellas and surrounded by flowers. I would recommend eating here around 2pm then going to the Szechenyi Baths.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service was very slow and the staff was rude. We ordered 2 elderflower lemonade and they had no flavor at all, they tasted like water. They should have been with still water (as we ordered them), but they were with soda. Also, our French potatoes didn't arrive.

The food was unfortunately very low quality, feels like we ate a frozen industrial Schnitzel.
Do yourself a favor and eat in a better place in the beautiful park.

We went there a couple of weeks back and it was delicious also compared to other places in budapest. I’d go there again.
