★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a nice and traditional place to have Hungarian dishes. The dishes are tasty with affordable prices. It is nice that they come well presented. The staff are nice, maybe a bit stressed with big groups.
The tea is delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Considering the rating I was afraid to eat here but given that it's very close to where I happen to stay I gave it a shot thinking it couldn't be that bad
Well, it's definitely not a place I would recommend, many others in Budapest serve significantly superior food. That being said the ribs I had were quite good , albeit a bit too salty and the mushroom soup was clearly above average with fresh ingredients
They don't have any beer on tap and they include a 12% service fee
Card payment is possible. Service was decent, waiters are quite old, but friendly enough. Menu is in several languages and there is ample space both inside and outside, although outside it is a bit noisy

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent. Service is very good. Super authentic Hungarian food - the pork medallions are wonderful. Pleasant atomosphere for outside dining - highly recommended to anyone visiting Budapest located very close to Gallert Baths.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So far, the best beef stew and spaetzle I’ve had in all of Budapest! The meat was fall-apart tender, the seasonings were spot on and the spaetzle were just ever-so-slightly al dente. Paired perfectly with a robust glass of “Bull’s Blood”.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice traditional Hungarian restaurant with old stile Musik and old school service ❤️ The food is delicious, handmade, fresh and cheap. All times a good choice! Parking at weekend all times free in the City ? Thank you to B & D for a nice Event and invitation!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When booked a table, I was told it’s a child friendly restaurant but there was no kids menu.
Service was very slow and poor. There were two tired, old men as waiters, who clearly didn’t want to be there.
The atmosphere was absolutely brilliant. There was live music and people sang at their table while waiting for their food. I couldn’t stop smiling all the way through.
Food and drinks are very nice and the orders can be slightly altered to individual preferences. (You can change the sides from rice and chips to mixed veg, or mash etc)
There was 12% service charge added to the bill that I paid with pleasure since the band made our evening.
