A szobor előtt elhelyezett táblán vésett szöveg szerint is emlékezetes Imre herceg kötődése Veszprémhez, hiszen itt tette le tisztasági fogadalmát a Szent György-kápolnában. Created by Györgyi Lantos, it was inaugurated in 2017. He was the second child of King St. Stephen and Blessed Gizella, the only child of our first king to have a man. King Stephen considered Saint Imre as a possible heir. Veszprém was a particularly important place in the life of the early deceased saint: he made his vow of virginity at St. George's Chapel in Veszprém. Prince Imre was elevated by the church in 1083 and is worshiped as the patron saint of youth.
