★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tinódi Lantos Sebestyén szobra úgynevezett "áthelyezett" státuszú. Beszerédi Gyula szobrászművész 1907-es alkotása.
Korábban nagyon prominens helyen, a Blaha Lujza téren állt a később elbontott Nemzeti Színház előtt. 1955-ben helyezték át a Népligetbe (az ok a metró építése volt), azaz már több, mint fél évszázada árválkodik egy viszonylag félreeső helyen.
"A talapzat domborműve a magyarok törökök elleni harcát ábrázolja. Bezerédi Gyula Tinódit - mivel hiteles arckép nem maradt fenn a lantosról – a Sáros megyei vár falán levő festményről mintázta meg." ( a szöveg a budapest-foto.hu-ról lett átvéve). A domborművön egyes alakoknak hiányzik a fejük.
Az Egri Csillagokból emlékszem Tinódi Lantos Sebestyénre, és valahogy nekem nem így nagybajszú emberként élt az emlékezetemben.
The statue of Lantos Sebestyén Tinódi is called "relocated". György György Györgyi's work by sculptor Gyula Beszerédi in 1907.
Earlier, he was in a very prominent place on the Blaha Lujza Square before the later dismantled National Theater. It was moved to Népliget in 1955 (the reason was the construction of the subway), so it has been flooding for more than half a century in a relatively secluded place.
"The pedestal of the pedestal depicts the fight of the Hungarians against the Turks. Gyula Bezerédi Tinódi - since the authentic portrait did not survive on the lantos - was modeled on a painting on the wall of the castle of Sáros." (the text has been taken from budapest-foto.hu). Some figures on the relief are missing their heads.
I remember Tiger's Lantos Sebestyen from the Stars of Eger, and somehow I did not live in my memory as a mustache man.
