★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really impressive art and you will love it, if you enjoy the visual effects of psychodelic trips. The artist is working with kinetic effects and optical illusions in his paintings. It makes a difference from which angle you are viewing and observing the paintings. Keep that in mind, that it can take some time, if your brain is switching the perspective. Therefore take your time, if you visit this museum.

I liked the venue a lot, not to crowded & the art pieces of Vasarely are definitely fascinating and something for the whole family!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A huge space filled with, you guessed it, works of Vasarely. There are ones form the beginning of his career, sketches and bit of historical records of his life, through later paintings, tapestries, and kinetic works.
The exhibition rooms are big, giving plenty of room to step back and get immersed into the optical illusions, some of which can make you really dizzy, or give you a bit of a headache if look at them for too long!
There is a room with works of Vasarely's son and close friend and there appear to be periodic exhibitions of other artists too.
Depending on how long you want to stare at paintings a visit would take you 1-1.5 hours, maybe 2 if you're a true Vasarely nerd!
Practicalities: Might seem far away from the city centre, but it's easy to reach, especially that the bus station is right in front of it. Toilets available. Wifi available. Card payment available. Museum shop available. Very quiet, even on a Sunday.
