A great little museum! Some really interesting and varied collections. We loved the thermos flask and enamel signs! A gem in the depths of Óbuda.

A lovely museum, very nice and interesting also for kids, since it has many interactive spots. English cards are available wherever there is no translation, but I strongly suggest you retrieve the museum's book, it is only 5,50€ and includes all the information and also photos. English speaking staff.

Really interesting museum of Hungarian social history. English info sheets in several area to make things clearer. But contents were mainly self explanatory. A little hard to find the museum.

Time machine. Would you like to feel how hungarians lived in the past? Try to make saloon candies, play quizzes and get much interesting info about life back in the past. Preferably take an excursion. Eng.papers also available in every room.

Here the milieu of the end of XIX sentury becomes visable and vivid, aspecially as that of cafe houses and saloons and restorants.

I never imagined it was going to be that good. The building looks very simple from the outside, but this place is a kingdom in the inside. The exhibitions give a marvellous representation of how businesses were in the past and how they all started. You can read about the life of business people who founded businesses more than 150 years ago that are still operating. Depending on how much you go into destila reading the descriptions of all exhibition rooms, you can enjoy the place for between 1 and 3 hours. Recommendation: don’t go with kids below I think. They will get bored.
