We found a very familiar atmosphere, and the location is both beautiful and very well kept. The owner is very friendly and accepts Euros at a correct exchange. This place is not expensive at all, considering the high quality of the food. We spent 51€ in 5 people. The food is very well made and arrived fast. The roasted duck is very recommended. This one of the very best places I have ever had lunch!

Fried fish with paprika seasoning and beautiful fresh tartar sauce was the standout. Veal pörkölt with nokedli was so rich and tasty. The bread provided with the meal was fresh and reminded me of Easter bread. We used it to scoop up all the pörkölt sauce. Amazing. The wine was also delicious. Specifically the Sauvignon Blanc and the Muskatály. And strong! This small place has a beautiful view of the Balaton and is away from the busy tourist streets of the Tihany center. It’s quiet, clean, and the friendly owner is producing quality food and wine. We will definitely visit again if he doesn’t retire first. That means go now!
