Arany János Street - Budapest

Sehr alte und renovierungsbedürftige Metrostation zum Zeitpunkt unseres Besuches (Dezember 2018). Da sich die Metrolinie M3 aber in Umbau befindet wird diese vermutlich bald erneuert. Guter Ausstiegspunkt für eine Besichtigung der St. Stephans-Basilika.

В метро очень не комфортно! Вагоны старые и шумные из-за этого невозможно разобрать ни одной станции! Дополнительные билеты (сквозные) нужно брать, если надо делать пересадку на другую ветку... Станции очень редко объявляют на английском языке!

John Gold Street Metro Station

Not so interesting metro station, but it has some good food options.

The metro station is quite basic. On the other hand there are great food options outside!

Nice take-away options at the entrance/exit of Arany Janos metro station. Not much to see at the spot, but excellent location for taking the city. Walking distance experience for the travelogistics. There are 2 fine turkish restaurants nearby, Yaylah, just accross the metro entrance, and Titiz, 150m from metro station (at the same side, direction to Niyugaty pályaudvar metro station). Also, there is a pretty nice japanese restaurant, Taro, at Bajcsy-Zsilinszky no. 35. Great price-value food at their menu. Google made it so cool. Lot of very useful stuff in one place. Just keep on moving up, we expect that ?✌️btw, there's always space to make the things better, so, pls don't give up, ok? There is nothing special with this metro, quite rusty and old. But a good stop for going to the bank district. The food served on the outside of the metro is the highlight of the place. Try the burger place - would like to say it's the best burger place in Budapest.
