★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice little train station in great condition, far more pleasant than those in other major cities I've seen so far. Not something to go out your way to see but it has much more character than the NYC underground.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The station looks unimpressive, but the trains are small and cozy.
But it's totally crazy that you can but the ticket only at ONE side.
If you need to go from Opera in the Szechenyi direction, you will need to go back out of the station, cross the street, enter the station from another side, buy the damn ticket and go back up & across the street and down to the subway again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Operas are relatively inexpensive compared to New York, London, or even Houston. Impressive structure with lots of attention to details.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s a very beautiful underground station, it makes you feel like you’re in some 20s-themed film!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's nicely renewed and we have performances. Franz Joseph opened it in Budapest in the middle of19th century.
