Valahogy kevés erre már a sétáló, szinte csak célzottan jutnak el turisták, így szerintem kevés is a látogatója a szobornak. A szobrot 1986-ban avatták fel, alkotója Pátzay Pál (1896-1979) szobrászművész, és ez a mű kicsinyített másolata az 1956-ban készült Pécsi Hunyadi szobornak. Azt akkor a a Nándorfehérvári győzelem 500. évfordulójára emelték. Néhány szóban Hunyadi Jánosról: "Hunyadi hősiessége évszázadokon át például szolgált a magyarok előtt, nevét Délkelet-Európa népeinek mondái is őrzik. The sculpture was inaugurated in 1986 by Pál Pátzay (1896-1979) and is a scaled-down copy of the 1956 Hunyadi sculpture in Pécs.
