M	MeYo Te on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spacious room in a big house with high ceilings. Reception was super friendly and everything was good. Only the bathroom seemed half-heartedly renovated, the ceiling had no paint coating.

The only things I don't like is they put 2 twin beds to make a full/king bed for us, the bed is squeaky and the hardwood floor too (understandable, old house).

In terms of overall hotel ranking, Hotel Kalvin is a 2-3 star, but in terms of being a place for thrifty travelers seeking value, it's 5 star.

The woman at the desk was very friendly, some English and joked around with us. Breakfast was decent. The location is right near a large road of restaurants and maybe 15 minutes walking from the bar/nightlife area. I would certainly stay again.

Staff are friendly and hardworking, which I cannot say from the managers who are arrogant. Just a decent breakfast and an air-conditioner sized for the large rooms. The breakfast could be better ate crusty and moldy bread. What is a health hazard. Canned fruit is a challenge for guests. Make it better and it will be a great hotel.
