Free of charge gallery, with different sculptors and painters. Bigger than expected, and intersting. Rate 5.

A family-owned gallery as a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of the tourists at the Buda Castle. The sculpture garden, although tiny, reminds me of Villa Carlotta at Lake Como, and the English countryside homes. Indoors, the escheresque pieces by Orosz István also came as a pleasant surprise.

Excellent little gallery with a wide range of classical and contemporary works by Hungarian artists. The top floor atelier (formally used by the sculptor, Amerigo Tot) with its incredible views of the city is worth visiting by itself. The small sculpture garden is also wonderful, and the staff are extremely polite and helpful. We’ll worth a visit if you’re looking for something other than the typical tourist sights on Castle Hill.

Secluded, intimate location, visited by few tourists. You feel like home, the interior is very nicely arranged, there are several sketches and paintings by Hungarian artists that can be bought. On the top floor is the workshop of the Hungarian artist Amerigo Tot whose sculptures are also exhibited in the garden of the house. Worth a visit if you are in the Fisherman's Bastion area.

I had the chance to visit Koller Gallery when a super talented artist friend of mine, Marco Veronese, had an exhibition there. There is a beautiful small garden, connected to the gallery with a small fountain, lovely statues and it has also a calm, artsy atmosphere. Excellent to ponder on life’s big questions and chill a bit there. Worth to go!
