★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the Hungarian Nut Pastry with vanilla cream. It was very delicious. And a good cappucino. The terrace is behind a little park, which makes it a hidden gem away from the tourist crowd but still allows you to see the Matthias Church Tower through the trees. Definitely a good break between long walks.

Appalling service from rude waiter. We felt as if we were treated differently since we were clearly from overseas eg. wanted to sit outside but he said we couldn’t, yet the next local customer that walked in the waiter offered an outdoor seating straight away.
We also felt he was rushing us to leave, for example I was clearly still eating yet he asked if I was done and kept circling around our table.
Also the food quality and quantity was average, and a little on the salty side.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are a tourist in Budapest and you are looking for a good Hungarian restaurant in a very nice neighborhood. They have great coffee, wine and good food. I have been here several times. It is cosy to sit inside during the winter time and lovely to enjoy the outdoor seating during spring or summer time.
