A check-in pult a repülőgép menetrendszerinti indulási ideje előtt 30 (diszkont légitársaságok esetén 40) perccel bezár, ez időpont után érkező utasok felvétele a járatra már nem lehetséges. Ha az utas nem schengeni övezetbe tartozó országba utazik, a jegykezelés után át kell esnie egy útlevél- vagy utazási okmány ellenőrzésen, ahol a hivatalos okmány mellett a beszállókártyának is kéznél kell lennie, mert ellenőrzés során ezt is elkérhetik. Amennyiben az utas schengeni országból schengeni országba utazik, tehát „határon belül” marad, nem kell okmányellenőrzésen átesnie.
Utasbiztonsági ellenőrzés
Célállomástól függetlenül, a repülőjárat indulása előtt minden utas, illetve feladott- és kézipoggyász biztonsági ellenőrzésen esik át. Az utasok ruházatának és kézipoggyászának átvizsgálására a jegykezelés és az útlevél ellenőrzés után kerül sor. Az utasok egy detektoros kapun mennek át, kézipoggyászukat pedig egy röntgen berendezéssel világítják át. Az eljárás célja az, hogy semmiféle szúró-vágó eszköz, fegyver, folyadék, vagy más, a repülés biztonságát veszélyeztető anyag, tárgy ne juthasson fel a gép fedélzetére.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice new terminal building. Before you had to walk outside for 1km through jail fences. Now it’s a modern building to the gate with a lot of wooden floors and roof beams. Only strange that the airport personnel doesn’t wear facemasks as if they are elevated above the general public regarding covid. They are actually the virus transmission points as they meet thousands of strangers a day, so if anyone should wear a facemask then they should be the first. Also to set the example to the public.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ok. They don't let you stay there overnight regardless if you have a flight or not. Only allow Ukrainians to stay overnight and feed them and give them water. It's actually quite a rude airport
