Vajh a síp hatására kerültek extázisba a sellők, s rohannak a vízen át a faun felé? Kissé ijesztő figurák, mert nem klasszikus szép emberarcú sellőket látunk, hanem a fizimiskájuk valamilyen átmenet hal és ember között. Még nem láttam a kutat működés közben. Csak remélem, hogy nyáron van valódi szökőkút! A mű Kerényi Jenő szobrász és Szabó István építész 1978-as műve. We have five mermaids and a sitting fauna with a whistle. The fauna is slightly larger than the mermaids: 180cm, as opposed to the 160cm of the mermaids. Did the whistles ecstasy the mermaids and rush across the water to the faun? They are a bit scary figures because we don’t see classic beautiful human-faced mermaids, but their physique is some kind of transition between fish and humans. I haven't seen the well in action yet. I just hope there is a real fountain in the summer! The work is the work of sculptor Jenő Kerényi and architect István Szabó in 1978.
