★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Would have been a 3 or 4 star review, however customer service was to be desired for. Silent treatment, check thrown to the side, no eye contact, no nothing....grrr. It's not an easy job, sure, but I get a more pleasant engagement from an automatic vending machine. Dear owners take note.
The seating was comfortable and plentiful. I was surprised to see such long queues upstairs at Costa and almost none at Szamls Csokolade, dispute having a top location. Now I think I know why.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want to pay cashless you are forced to pay in EUR! As per information of the cashier she is told to do so and not to use HUF. But the exchange rate is 25% higher than the actual HUF-EUR currency rate!
That's an absolute no-go and in my opinion a rip-off of tourists.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had no problems spending our remaining Hungarian forint to buy a load of cakes. I think it was cheaper than the main cafe in Budapest, certainly cheaper than dining in there!
The cakes were fresh, delicious and the service good. No complaints.
