A	Anna Kristensen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointment. Not a great place for tourists since most is in hungarian. As a tourist you can read the densely written paper sheets in every room - but then why not just read a book or Wikipedia at home... Most of the other things in English - e.g. subtitles on screens - doesn't do much to add to the experience since you have no idea about the context (is it prisoners, soldiers or something else talking...?) Go see the Holocaust museum instead.
M	M. S. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very impressive rooms. However, had to wait for half an hour before we could enter. Audio guides were all taken already so the only information we had were printed pages at every room. The decoration and items and most movies are only in Hungarian which is kinda disappointing. They look really interesting and you get the general idea of each room but it would be nice to understand everything. But still 4 stars as the exhibition is really nicely set up.

Most of the exhibits have Hungarian descriptions with little English (fair enough, it is in Hungary after all). There are fact sheets for each room but the English language ones had run out in many rooms. Overall disappointing :-(
A	Angeles Moreno on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sad and needed piece of info to keep with you to understand better the city, its culture and its people. The set up in the museum is splendid. Music and testimonials around produces goosebumps. Very nice touch on the transition downstairs (not going to spoil the surprise ?) I'd recommend taking the audio guide. Without reading is impossible to get the full history and the readings are not spread along the room (little readings next to different elements) but long reading the beggining (in a piece of paper, so you could keep it!), which made it not so comfy for me - I guess this is on personal preference thought.
