★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My package was sent from the Czech Republic to me with a two day delivery. By checking the tracking, I could see on Friday morning that the delivery is scheduled for that day, so stayed at home. During the afternoon I checked tracking again and seen that tracking was not successful, because 'nobody was at home' with a timestamp of 15:00. Immediately called TNT and complained. After some internal dialog in the background i received the answer that the package was given to a wrong person and the status was wrongly administered. It means that two things could happen:
1. The courier decided that he does not want to work on Friday afternoon so made a fake admin step and went home to have a beer.
2. The company made two mistakes with the same package and was fool enough to make such a nice timestamp of 15:00, while all other timestamps seemed to be real in tracking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointing service. I sent a small box from Budapest to London with 3-4 days delivery time offered. But the actual delivery took 8 days. It was a good start with punctual pickup, immediate transfer to destination city. According to TNT tracking info, the parcel arrived to Dartford - London in 2 days, then it was parked here for 3 days (out of which only 4 hrs delay by customs), then transferred to Leyton Depot and parked there for another 3 days. So the shipment actually spent 6 days in London, before delivering to the addressee, what is simply not acceptable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So far, this is the worst delivery company I have had to deal with (in this country) .
Imagine - delivery arrives, driver stops not at the address but on a nearby street, the agent calls you and tells "the driver is here, so please come out and get your stuff from inside the truck".
Sounds weird? welcome to TNT Hungary!
Initially I thought it is the driver's attitude - we had some very good experience with TNT in the past, and you do get some crabby drivers occasionally.
The main problem is that customer "service" (no other country in the world will call this a service, mind!) at TNT thinks it is completely OK and reasonable to tell the recipients to climb into TNT truck to pick up their deliveries. Oh yes, and before you can do it, you HAVE TO sign that there is no damage - you cannot see it though. You have to sign it first and then you can see.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered express shipping (1 working day) for a package to be delivered from Germany to Hungary.
I paid more than 100 Euros for the express shipping. TNT didn't even manage to pick up the packages in 4 days! Unbelievable, simply.
They sent mails day by day with that included the time window of the expected pickup, but it never happened. I have never seen such a hilarious service.
