Zala Springs Golf Resort

Extremely disappoint about golf course management behavior regarding the rain check policy. On 5th August I visit the golf resort having tee time at 13.40. I paid 164 euro for two tees and one buggy and a after hole one a heavy rain didn't leave us to play. We wait a while but the heavy rain didn't show any sign that will stop during the day. We stop playing and we ask at pro-shop desk to issue us a voucher to be used another time ( not refund !) but the answer was that the golf course don't have a rain check policy and we will lose our money.

waited for 1h and hevent received my apetizer. The employees dont speak englis. the food is sad. My friend ordered an Medium Rare stake, it was well done. Overpriced, and just awfull

We spent two nights at the hotel.  On arrival we wanted to reserve golf training, which was pretty overbooked. The only available hours were early morning. The trainer and the field staff were well-prepared and friendly. The wellness building is not completed yet, therefore the guest should use the wellness of the nearest hotel. Transfer was not available, however was mentioned on their website.There were two small changing rooms for one-one people and the pools were crowded. The breakfast contained a nice variety of food and was tasty. This could not be mentioned about the dinner, which was poor selection and substandard. The rooms are modern and well equipped. However we had to turn off the air-conditioner for the night, because it was noisy. We got the accommodation as a voucher gift, which was accepted by difficulty.The management of the hotel should be generous and problem solving and not this kind of a negative attitude.

Zala Springs is a totally nice place. The hotel is very nice, clean and modern. Also the restaurant - we went twice there and they had different themes and also buffet which was very good (but not that hot). Breakfast was great! I had two times dessert which was that not good. Service was very nice and helpful. The golf court is also good. The trainer is kind and recommendable as he could give us good advise and was kind.

Whether you're a fan of golfing or just want to spend some time in a wonderful resort, Zala Springs is guaranteed to take you to a place of rejuvenation and relaxation. The rooms are modern and beautifully designed, the hospitality is great and the food is just like the golf course itself - world-class.

The wine which was included in the menu at New Year's Eve was warm. No surprise if the white and rosé wine is already on the table for hours prior to the start of the event. The sparkling wine was already served in glasses and also waiting for a long time to be consumed. So it gets warm as well and the carbon dioxid level decreases. The even bigger negative surprise was that the wines themselves had some components in the taste which should not appear in a wine. The wine bottles do not have a vintage on the label, usually a sign of low quality. After tasting the wines we refrained from drinking them. Regarding the food both for dinner and breakfast the quality of certain ingredients is too low for the level the restaurant pretends to be and does not reflect the paid price. We hoped to enjoy a great New Year's Eve event and for this we were willing to pay a high price. Besides the issues with the included wine the performance on the "stage" was not understandable if sitting a few meters away from the actors. The acoustic of the room is not suitable for such a performance. We were not able to follow the performance.

Beautiful golf resort, accommodation in apartments and a nice wellness for guests. Excellent cuisine and friendly staff throughout the resort. Prices slightly higher, but le for good service is to be paid. The course is very interesting, all in flat and in excellent quality.
