Best Car rental agency in Hungary

A	Attila Badi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They are practically never in the office... you have to park the car in the hotel garage next to the office and drop the key to the post box in the office. They also state that you remain responsible for the car untill they finally inspect it. There's a surcharge for taking the car over the border and they surcharge a 10 day motorway ticket even though the car has a yearly ticket on it. You have to take over the car within an hour from indicated time if you reserve on their site and within 3 hours if you reserve on rentalcars app (this rule is not mentioned anywhere as far as I know). Gave the car back 4 days early (reserved for 11 days, only used it for 7) they didn't even send a thanks we have the car email yet (2 days passed since).

t	toti eprosti on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ nice team, friendly, no much hassle. except "service fees" that are not communicated in advance. every car rental has this type of making extra monies but here is a new level. for a parking fine of 15 Eur they charge 40 Eur service fee. disappointed.
A	Alec Hutkoff on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst car rental experience I’ve ever had. I’ve rented 7 cars in 5+ countries and I’ve never had worse customer service than here. To start, the gas tank was nearly empty when I picked it up. They are quick to get you out the door without asking any questions and signing the paperwork. Upon my return from my trip they were not present at the agreed upon hour to return the vehicle - therefore avoiding an ending check up status. Then they send pictures of “damages” while the car is still filthy. They refuse to answer me over the phone or email for over a month and dodge me when I come in personally. The charges to my card are OBSCENE. GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE FOR YOUR CAR RENTAL NEEDS!
A	Alexandra Pittiglio on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A TOTAL SCAM!! DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE!! I wish I had read all the terrible reviews before renting. They totally made up a tiny 3cm scratch on the side mirror, even though none of our photos (taken upon return) showed that scratch. Unfortunately we couldn't zoom into our photos close enough to prove that, and the attendants stopped answering my emails after charging my credit card. The company just assumes that as a foreigner you have car rental insurance through your credit card, and they take advantage of that. Initially it looks like a cheap option for rentals in Budapest, but they take advantage of people, especially foreigners!
J	Julien Praud on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Slowness to give you key and the car.. there was just one couple in front of us, they waited more than 30min.. so we waited 1h20 to have the vehicle. Then we came back at 6:45pm and he was already leaved, we had to park the car, hopping that nothing happen to it during the night.. The price seems cheap, 150€ for 1 day (saturday) for a 7 places car
А	Александр Башков on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not take a car from them. I took the car, it was in the snow and it was dark. During examination, only large scratches or dents could be seen. When I handed in the car, it was about the same conditions. The employee with the searchlight walked around it for a long time and rubbed various places, eventually he said that in such conditions they can not say exactly what is in the car all right and will check it in the day after washing within 24 hours. The next day I received a email with photographs of small scuffs, which clearly could not have been made by me when driving a car. And such minor wear and tear could not be noted in any way by me at night with the reception of the icy machine. They are not even on the protruding parts of the machine. Attached photos of scuffs, for which the distributor is going to take money from me. Look at these small scrapes for which you will be forced to pay and decide whether you want to take the car here.

We had to wait on the side of the road for a call back and location, which turned out to be painted shipping container (their office) we then got a var. It was a typical car with low miles, upon returning it in pristine condition, we were told scratches were found and it would be an additional 600 dollars. But they said don't worry, the insurance Co will pay. What a scam, and one of the worst. I won't use them ever again, they are criminals and not afraid to be that way... buyer beware.
