★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eredetileg a Kölcsey Művelődési Központ oldalánál, a lépcsőknél volt. Oda 1978-ban, az épület felavatásával egy időben került.
Mikor azt az épületet lebontották, akkor került a szobor a mai helyére, a Tanítóképző Főiskola elé. Akkoriban az intézmény neve Kölcsey Ferenc Református Tanítóképző Főiskola volt. Ma a református általános iskola és gimnázium működik a falai között.
 It was originally on the side of the Kölcsey Cultural Center, by the stairs. It was built there in 1978, at the same time as the building was inaugurated.
When that building was demolished, the statue was in its present location in front of the Teacher Training College. At that time, the name of the institution was Ferenc Kölcsey Reformed Teacher Training College. Today, the Reformed primary school and grammar school operate within its walls.
