★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A téren található még az Izsó Miklós által készített Csokonai Vitéz Mihály szobor. A nagy bohém lanttal a kezében szőlőtőke mellett áll, nézi a kollégiumot, ahonnan kicsapták, mint a szegedi egyetem „fura ura” József Attilát. A háttér ront a szobron!
 The statue of Mihály Csokonai Vitéz, made by Miklós Izsó, can also be found in the square. With the big bohemian lute in his hand, he stands next to a vineyard, watching the dormitory, from where he was sacked like Attila József, the “strange lord” of the University of Szeged. The background spoils the statue!
