★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A bécsi békekötés 300 éves évfordulóján, 1906. november 26-án avatták Bocskai István fejedelem, a hajdúvárosok alapítójának szobrát az Emlékkertben. Ez a szobor a budapesti Bocskai-szobornak a másolata, Hirmann Ferenc öntötte. Talapzatát a félalakos hajdúfigurákkal Tóth András, Tóth Árpád költő édesapja készítette.
A Holló Barnabás által készített eredeti budapesti Bocskai-szobor 1903-ban készült, Ferenc József támogatásával. Először a Kodály köröndön állt, majd a II. világháború után áthelyezték a Hősök terére a Millenniumi Emlékmű szobraihoz.
 On the 300th anniversary of the Vienna Peace Treaty, on November 26, 1906, the statue of Prince István Bocskai, the founder of the Hajdú towns, was inaugurated in the Memorial Garden. This sculpture is a copy of the Bocskai sculpture in Budapest, cast by Ferenc Hirmann. The pedestal was made with the half-shaped hair figures by András Tóth, the father of the poet Árpád Tóth.
The original Bocskai statue in Budapest, made by Barnabás Holló, was made in 1903 with the support of Ferenc József. First he stood on the Kodály circle, then on the II. after World War II it was moved to Heroes' Square for the statues of the Millennium Monument.
