Létezéséről először 1663-ban tesznek említést és a felújítását követően 2002. november 20-án nyitották meg újra a nagyközönség előtt. A medieval driveway that leads from the water city to the citadel. Its existence was first mentioned in 1663 and after its renovation it was reopened to the public on November 20, 2002.
P	Péter Pahocsa on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Akár lentről, akár fentről, de mindenképpen érdemes rajta végigsétálni-lépcsőzni. Nagyon szépen felújították, és gyönyörű útvonal. A Macskalépcsőn nincs, de az út részén vannak padok, ahol lehet pihenni, a kilátásban gyönyörködni. Either from the bottom or from the top, but it’s definitely worth walking through and stairs. Very nicely renovated and beautiful route. There are no Cat Stairs, but there are benches along the way where you can relax, admire the view.

The view of the Danube towards Slovakia is beautiful. The stairs themselves are no problem either, but their immediate surroundings are extremely careless.

Sokkal jobb, hangulatosabb és élvezetesebb erre felé megközelíteni a várat, mint vártuk. Aki teheti jöjjön erre, nincs tömeg, még +20kg súlyfelesleggel sem vészes a mászás és az esetleges levegőhiányt kárpótolja a panoráma! We stumbled upon the map by accident, whipped up our imagination and tried it out. It is much better, more cozy and more enjoyable to approach the castle towards this than we expected. Whoever can come to this, there is no weight, even with an excess of + 20kg weight, it is not dangerous to climb and the panorama compensates for any lack of air!

A környezet nem túl rendezett, de a kilátás mindenért kárpótol. Egy egy lépcsőfokot leszámítva könnyen járható az útszakasz. The renovation is now complete, so the driveway can be walked on again. During the renovation, the driveway received new railings, lighting and benches. The environment is not very tidy, but the view makes up for everything. With the exception of one step, the road is easy to walk.
