A Macskaút korai középkori eredetű elképzelhető, hogy a tatàrjàràs elől ezrn menekültek a vízivàtos lakói a vàrba.
A mostani Bazilika építéséig 1822-ig volt használatban. Majd az építkezés betemette és 2002-ben kiàstàk felújítottàk. 2018-ban statikai okok, majd a covid jàrvàny miatt lezàrtàk.
Szerencsére màr újra làtogatható.
